Bologna - It was early in the morning; the place was still close and everything was calm.
I'm not really greedy of food they usually serve but I am fond of Fred's people. I thought of all his wonderful works while I was sketching this, of course!

Maddalena di Cazzano - Not far from Bologna there is Maddalena di Cazzano. In this countryside place I saw few days ago this building; it was the tractor, indeed, that first cought my attention. Only later I discovered that the building I had sketched had a name, Casino Bertuzzini, and was very likely built in 16th century. In 17th century it was used as summer residence by Bertuzzini Family, one of the most important in the spot, and then in 18th century turned into a school.

Tuesday, 16 December - Just nine days to Christmas!

Bologna - Via San Nicolò - As others have, before me, rightly said wait is one of the best time to sketch. It was a dark and freezy evening, but the inside of the car, where I was waiting, was rather comfortable to make this sketch.

Thursday, 11 December 2008 - Last winters were not so freezing but temperature this year is most below 0° C.
I was on my way home in the morning when this man, I suppose he was a man but she could be a woman as well, crossed the street. I added colours later at home. It was warmer!
