All the sketches I made until now followed, more or less, what I learned on Andrew Loomis "Drawing the Head and Hands".
I'm really satisfied with results I had, but in the same time I feel that's not what I'm looking for.
I know I need a nimble way to work, a looser way to work. I think Charles Reid contour drawing method could be suitable for the purpose. I can't do anything but give it a try! This is the first attempt.
Comprendo la tua insoddisfazione, e penso che fai bene a non accontentarti, poiché è solo cercando di migliorare che si cresce e si fanno progressi, però mi sembra che stai producendo una serie davvero bella e interessante di ritratti!

ReplyDeleteSpero che la qualità continui a migliorare e penso che la chiave sia nel non pensare mai di essere arrivati;
c'è sempre qualche cosa dopo.
Spesso è una grande fatica...ma è anche, indubbiamente, la parte più divertente!!
